How to create a new phone in Control Panel

To add a new IP Phone or other SIP phone (i.e. softphone) to your account, login as an administrative user to the Control Panel.  From the menu on the left select Devices. Device Setup Page

To add a new device click the link “+ New Device” right below the Device List title.

The minimum requirements to setup a new device are to complete the Basic Info tab and SIP Settings tab.  The MAC address and Phone Model information are important only if you are using’s automated provisioner for provisioning your phone.


The SIP settings are the username and password information, that will be required to connect your device to your service.  It is important that these details be as complicated as possible.  It is also important that these details be kept secret.  The primary source of VoIP fraud is due to these details being compromised.
